About Us

United Imaging Consultants, LLC (UIC) was formed on January 1, 2000, by a merger of several radiology groups in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. UIC is a group of board certified diagnostic radiologists, including specialists in Interventional, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, Mammography, Body Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and MRI. UIC provides imaging services to nine area hospitals and an imaging center in Kansas.

UIC makes use of technology, including its own Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and Voice Recognition systems, to distribute images for efficient and accurate interpretations. UIC’s size and technology allows scalability and immediate responses to changes in the business climate. This allows UIC to take on new opportunities in a timely manner while staying ahead of our competitors. In addition to these benefits UIC’s technology also allows system wide sub-specialization while having more control over working conditions, benefits, and schedule.

UIC provides a full service of Radiology and Practice Management Services through its ownership in other business and joint ventures. Full service practice management is provided to several area medical groups through Total Medical Management, LLC (TMM), and full service imaging services are provided at Kansas City Imaging Center, LLC.
